As many of you already know, our dearest JulieAnn lost her hard fought battle with cancer on Saturday, May 4th. She was the adoring wife of Scot, and a dedicated mother to Chandler 15, Cortland 12, Manee 10, Saskia 7 and Taggart 2. JulieAnn was a enthusiastic volunteer in in our work with children in Nicaragua. JulieAnn loved her teaching experience in La Calle Real, and the kids she met there. She donated her resources, time, and talents in her efforts to help these children learn English, which is helping them to be more employable in the future. When she was too ill to make the trip last March, she sent her two sons(Chandler&Cortland) to continue the work. We will miss her very much.

It is with a heavy heart that I send you the news of JulieAnn Willey's passing. JulieAnn taught English to the kids during our March trip in 2012. Her two boys (Chandler and Cortland) were on the both trips in 2012 and 2013. JulieAnn leaves behind a total of five children, including a 2 year old baby girl My daughter Angie was at her bedside last night when she passed away.
