Sonia Weaver (author of Gorilla Spanish and Gorilla English) was able to introduce an English program at the orphanage in November 2008. The ability to speak basic English will help these children obtain employment when they get older. As tourism grows in Nicaragua; hotels, restaurants, and resorts are looking for employees that can speak basic English.
