Since 2011, Worldwide Child Relief Foundation has been partnering with universities to recruit interns to travel to Nicaragua and assist in the ongoing projects that the Foundation is developing in disadvantaged communities.
Careers are more global than ever before. Developing skills that set you apart, including international experience, shows you have a world perspective and adaptability that is much needed in the workplace. It also shows you can navigate situations cross-culturally and work with people from varied backgrounds and circumstances.
Our interns have provided invaluable leadership and direction in many areas. Those programs and areas of focus are listed below. A benefit of interning with Worldwide Child Relief Foundation is that we tailor the internship to the interests and background of each intern, thus providing an invaluable opportunity to partner with us and our goals, while also being able to introduce and implement new ideas and projects for your own professional and individual development. As one of our recent interns said, “I hope anyone interested in interning with WCRF will highly consider it. It will change your life forever!” Click below to apply.

“The people in La Calle Real are loving, kind, hard-working, selfless, and compassionate. I worked extensively with the dance team and youth council, special needs’ class, as well as helping several single mothers procure a stable job. My favorite experience was providing a leadership training for the youth council. I was astounded by how well they worked as a team and worked through problems. I love and miss the people there every day and I can’t wait to go back! I hope anyone interested in being an intern for WCRF will highly consider it. It will change your life forever!”

“It has been very rewarding to work for WCRF in La Calle Real. I have learned so much, and I hope I have helped WCRF in its goals. I have been talking up WCRF to my friends at UC Davis, so hopefully at least one of them can get involved!”
