This past week the instructor, Karla was able to do a special field trip in which the children were able to go to a small carnival that they do in the village once a year. The children loved doing the rides and jumping on the trampoline. They also were able to enjoy some refreshments as

The senior baseball players are thoroughly enjoying this trip and want to return in the future. We instructed 70 youth baseball players today in Telica, and expect to have approximately 70 more tomorrow in Leon.
Rosario, from UCD is now working with WCRF in La Calle Real. She is getting to know the people and her special emphasis is with nutrition! We are fortunate to have her join WCRF!!!
Thanks to volunteers delivering several bags of used clothing, the community center store opened its doors Wednesday morning after being closed for several weeks. The store ran out of inventory at the end of November. The community Council relies on revenue from the clothing store to do community projects and food for work programs.
