Dania Garcia is the first student in our new English program. This program is taught one on one by our linguist, Juan Carlos Munguia. As many of you know Juan suffered a medical emergency on the morning of November 7. He has received medical attention and is now back at the community center supervising activities and feeling better. He is not 100% yet, but seems to be getting stronger each day.. He thanks everybody for your thoughts and prayers.
As of December 11, a new joint venture was started at the community center. The joint venture will be managed by Hermes Reyes. the project will consist of bringing pigs to market in Leon in the last six months. The pigs are bought at a wholesale price from local farmers and are resold at auction
As many of you know, Juan Carlos (WCRF director in LCR), suffered a medical emergency on Thursday morning. He was rushed to the hospital. He was treated there, and is now resting at the community center. He will be transferring to the hospital in Leon by bus on Saturday morning. He has been given medication

In another attempt to stimulate economy in the community, the Community Center offered the sale of agriculture products such as seed and fertilizer to the La Calle Real Community this past year.
