I was able to create the internship of my dreams with Worldwide Child Relief Foundation! WCRF is a non profit organization helping our friends abroad gain skills and knowledge to build them a better future. Currently

WCRF is working in León, Nicaragua.WCRF was so flexible with me. My husband and I wanted to stay three months and help grow small businesses in the region. We wanted to live in the rural communities with the people and truly experience their lives and culture. WCRF made it all happen! I was able to teach 6 women an 8 week hair cutting course. Along with the training, I helped them develop a business plan, and set up strategies for success in growing their business.

I made so many wonderful friends, which was great because on the weekends when we weren’t working we got to explore the beautiful country of Nicaragua with them. If you have an idea that you want to take abroad or are looking to pick up an already existing project with WCRF, I would highly recommend that you consider this organization.
