Community Outreach

Each trip we take time to go out to the community and talk with the locals. This gives our volunteers to experience a world completely new and humbling to them. We have heard many say that it has changed their lives and given them a much broader perspective.  This experience is usually a highlight for many who do the Charitour.

We started a weekly reading program in the community. This is a new concept for this community, as they have never had a library that allows them to check books out and take them home. We have hired a local person to read to various groups of children each week. This is promoting a new love of reading.
