A group is volunteering to help in Nicaragua next week and also in June 2017. Most have room in their suitcases to take the following needed items:Athletic shoes, Men, Women, & Kids all sizes, Mens Cargo Shorts, Jeans, Womens Sun Dresses, Long sleeve T shirts. Fly Tying Beginnings

Trying to think of ways to bring outside money into the La Calle Real community, one of our volunteers who loves to fly fish, decided to train some young men to tie flies. They began by tying 1000 San Juan worms for a fly shop in Salt Lake City. Soon they moved on to other flies. I wanted to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for the opportunity Olivia and I had to participate in the WCRF effort in Nicaragua last summer. June 2016

Our previous trip on June 18-26 2016 was a huge success. The trip was 5 days of humanitarian work. We delivered supplies and worked on projects that will continue to benefit the community near the small village of La Calle Real. We participated  alongside community members on various projects, including educational endeavors, and small business development.

Safe Drinking Water

Safe drinking water for the people of La Calle Real has been a real concern of Worldwide Child Relief. We were able to get help from he Bright Water Foundation. "The Bright Water Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation with an ambitious goal: to eliminate water-borne disease worldwide."
