Report for the third week of May, 2019

On the 21st of May, Nohemi Tellez Reyes read to 9 kids in Carreros and on the 24th she read to 13 kids in Tolapita and 5 kids in Rinconada. The most popular books were The Three Little Pigs and Franklin Goes to Class. Most commonly, kids between the ages of 8 and 17 are the ones checking out books, although so far only one book has ever been checked out. Tellez Reyes has shared that in order to help the library be more useful, she want to work together with the language and literature teachers of Xilonem to promote reading comprehension activities by using the resources of the Community Center Library. She also would like to implement different activities for the children to put into practice the skills they have learned.
